    Annapurna Base Camp Trek is of moderate difficulty level. Our Annapurna base camp trek starts from Pokhara, the lake city of Nepal and the gateway for Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) as well as Dhaulagiri ranges treks. On the first day, we will drive for 45 km / 1.5 hours to a village called Nayapul (1, 011 meters) and commence our trek to Thikedunga (1, 552 meters). The complete trek we will cover many destinations such as Ghorepani (2,800 meters), Pun Hill (3,200 meters), Tadapani (2,647 meters), Chhomroong (2,100 meters), Dovan (2,400 meters), Deurali (3,300 meters), Mount Machhapuchchhre Base Camp (3,700 meters), Annapurna Base Camp (4,200m), Bamboo (2,335 meters) and Jhinu Danda (1,600 meters). The trek to the base camp of the most notorious mountain called Annapurna will be really scenic. In Annapurna Zone, we will get to see three mountain peaks, which are more than 8000 meters, as well as some in the 6000 to 7000 meters range. During ABC Trek, we will pass through many high altitudes Tibetan villages and cross through the rhododendron forests, glacial marines in high altitude.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon arrival our representative we will take you to the hotel and issue your first permit. In the evening you can visit the Thamel Street, it is a very popular place. It has lot of restaurants, casinos and plenty of shops to buy trekking gears and accessories.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara

We will checkout in the morning and catch a bus for Pokhara. We will enjoy the ride on a mountain road along side of Trishuli River. Upon arrival at Pokhara, you will be checked into the hotel. In the evening, you can roam around the famous Phewa Lake and chill out in a Cafe near Phewa Lake.

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul (1,011 meters) and trek to Thikedunga (1, 552 meters / 4-5 hours)

Today we will reach Nayapul by car and the total drive time will be 1.5 hours on a beautiful road. After arrive at Nayapul we will start our trek and after 4 or 5 hours of trek we will reach Thikedunga village. Thikedunga is a beautiful mountain village and has some basic accommodation to rest.

Day 4: Thikedunga to Ghorepani (2,800 meters / 6 - 7 hours)

We will have our breakfast early and start the trek to Ulleri village (2, 070 meters). The trail to Ulleri is steep and need to climb several hundred steps. Once you cross Ulleri the trail is moderate and on our way, we will cross Magar of Banthanti village. The views...

Day 5: Ghorepani to Pun Hill (3,200 meters / 1 hour) and trek to Tadapani (2,647 meters / 5 hours)

Day 8: Dovan to Deurali (3,300 meters / 5-6 hours)

We will start today’s trek through bamboo forests and then our journey goes amidst valleys, rivers, and typical Himalayan nature. Today will get to experience the high altitude zone. Deurali is situated at the foothill of Modi Himal and Mount Machhapuchhre.

Day 9: Deurali to Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,200m / 5-6 hours)

Today we will start early and we will cross Machhapuchhre Base Camp and then reach Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (6-7 hours)

Today we will wake up early and enjoy a spectacular sunrise in Annapurna. After breakfast we will trek back to Bamboo. Today’s trek is mostly downhill, so be little careful on the trail as it might be slippery.

Day 11: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1, 760 meters /5-6 hours)

Day 12: Jhinu Danda to Nayapul (6 hours) and drive back to Pokhara (1.5 hours)

Today we will trek back to Nayapul. We will get the Modi River for most of the time in this trail. The trail goes through terrace fields and forests. After reaching Sauli Bazaar the trail becomes flat up to Nayapul. After reaching Nayapul we will drive back to Pokhara and relax in our hotel.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu

We will back to Kathmandu on the same beautiful route. After reaching Kathmandu you can rest in the hotel or roam around the city.

Day 14: Departure

Checkout the hotel by 12 PM and we will drop you at Kathmandu International Airport.

  • What to expect:: An adventure filled fun time with moderate to difficult trekking on mountain terrain. A lifetime adventure activity filled with fun and moderate to difficult level trekking on high altitude mountain terrains with some splendid views of the nature.
  • Fitness Needed: Any individual between 12 to 80 years old, who are enthusiastic adventure lover and loves trekking with some or average fitness level.
  • Weather: In summer the night time temperature on upper Altitudes regions will range between 0 to -5 and in winter it will range between -5 to -20. The lower altitude ranges will report between 25 to 10 in summer and 5 to -5 in winter. (Temperature in degree Celsius).
  • Welcome to Annapurna Base Camp Trek (ABC Trek). This is one of the several beautiful treks in the Annapurna zone. You can see three mountains, who feature in the list of Top 10 Highest peaks in the world, such as Dhaulagiri I (8,167m / 7th highest), Manaslu (8,156m / 8th highest) and Annapurna (8,091m / 10th highest). The trekking trail goes through the spectacular Himalayan villages with the view of beautiful terraced farms.
