- 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 7 dinners (does not include drinks)Continental breakfasts are served and will usually consist of breads, cheese, ham, tea, coffee & juices. At breakfast you will prepare your packed lunch for the day which will be sandwiches, fruit & juice. If you choose not to cycle on a particular day, the crew will serve lunch on board. Dinner will consist of three courses inclusive of either a pasta, vegetarian or meat dish. Special diets can be catered for on request (e.g. lactose-free and gluten-free diet) however a supplement will apply. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements at the the time of booking.
- 7 nights on a standard barge (Category B+ roomier cabins with split level and bunk beds) in a twin share cabin with ensuite facilities (departures on comfort level Category A (twin lower berth) barge - supplement applies). If you are travelling by yourself you will be matched with another passenger of the same gender, subject to availability - alternatively a single cabin supplement will need to be paid (limited availability). Cabins are configured with split beds or in some cabins two bunk beds (upper and lower), except for comfort departures (Category A) which are two lower beds – price supplement applies to comfort departures on a category A barge.

Itinerary
After boarding the barge in Amsterdam from 12:30pm, you will sail right through the centre of Amsterdam. There will be a short cycle trip following the banks of the river Amstel ending in the village of Uithoorn or Kudelstaart, our destination for the evening.

The barge will remain in Alkmaar today. We will cycle to the unique wood and dune area near the villages of Bergen and Schoorl and see the Hondsbossche Zeewering, a sea wall. If you feel like it, you are, of course, free to visit the beach or to spend a day on your own in Alkmaar exploring the town on foot.

After passing Oterleek and Avenhorn, we visit the museum windmill in Schermerhorn before reaching Hoorn, where there is time to explore this historical port town. You continue cycling along the coast road from where you have a splendid view over the IJssel Lake. Later you cycle along the canal ‘Beemsterringvaart’ to Purmerend, our evening's destination.
