What's this trip about?

The Rara Lake is the biggest and deepest freshwater lake at an altitude of 2,990 m in the Nepal Himalayas. It is the main feature of the Rara National Park, located in the Jumla and Mugu Districts. Rara Lake, is surrounded by Rara National Park, has unique flora and fauna importance with rare and vulnerable species. Though the Rara region does not have good infrastructural facilities by its tough geography, traveling there is worth. Besides the spectacular natural beauty, you can experience the social, cultural, human lifestyle and other aspects there. It would be better if you have enthusiasm and endurance for riding through diverse geography, weather, and road conditions as you know Nepal is a country with rugged terrains & winding mountainous roads.
