What's this trip about?

The ultimate discovery of Victoria’s breathtaking coastlines - there’s one famous attraction after another on this coastal, peninsula and island tour. Journey inland directly to the Port Campbell National Park & be amazed by the iconic rock formations found along this part of the coast. Wonder at the stunning 12 Apostles & descend the Gibson Steps where you will be dwarfed by the towering cliffs and the enormous offshore stacks. Hear the tragic story of the shipwrecked Loch Ard at the spectacular Loch Ard Gorge, before continuing on through the lush Otway Ranges to explore the cool temperate rainforest & see some of Australia’s tallest eucalypts. Continue along the scenic coastal journey along Victoria’s Surf Coast to your overnight accommodation at Beacon Resort. Arise the following morning & board the ferry for an hour-long journey across Port Phillip Bay to the Mornington Peninsula. View the quirky Bathing Boxes then travel to the multi-award-winning Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park where we’ll get up close and personal with the friendly residents. Hand-feed kangaroos & wallabies, meet the cuddly koalas & enjoy a guided tour of the extensive exhibits housing a wide array of native fauna. Then cross over to Phillip Island to experience the world-renowned Penguin Parade as dusk falls on Summerland Beach. Watch these wondrous waddlers emerge from the surf and cross the beach before making their way to their homes in the dunes.

Fun, interactive small group touring from Melbourne

Bunyip tours have been offering fun, adventurous tours for over 18 years and provide a variety of trips to suit people’s needs in an environmentally responsible way. Our team of energetic and experienced guides will take you on an unforgettable journey to Victoria’s premier destinations.

We firmly believe in small group travel, and we structure our itineraries to avoid the crowds as much as possible (which is becoming more challenging in the era of over-tourism!)

We offer tours to destinations that others don’t and have been responsible for pioneering tours to lesser-known gems such as the Mornington Peninsula & Wilson’s Promontory.

Most importantly, we pride ourselves in delivering consistently high-quality touring services that are memorable for all the right reasons.

We see every tour as an opportunity to share Victoria’s special destination with our guests, remaining mindful that for the vast majority of our visitors their journey with us will be the one & only time they visit the destination. It’s therefore critical to us that we assist in creating some wonderful travel memories and that we ensure that our visitors’ journeys are everything they hoped they would be.

We are ourselves disappointed if ever one of our guests has a less than satisfactory experience on our tours, which is why we proudly offer a guest satisfaction guarantee, with an aim to ensure that each & every one of our guests ends their experience with us on a positive note."
